Meet Markus

Why I do what I do

Wedding filmmaking has given me the tools that allow me to pursue my biggest passion as my career, and I can truthfully say my favorite days of the year are wedding days. My hope is that our relationship is not just filmmaker and client, but more like old friends by the time we're finished. 

From the Jump

My camera journey started from a very young age. At age 6, I started shooting my own short films and projects with my older sister. Ever since then, I haven’t looked back. Filmmaking has always been the thing that made me the happiest, and made the most sense to me, so I’m continuing to share that drive with all my happy couples.

Education

I have a Television Production diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). I was taught by some amazing filmmakers and many of the storytelling techniques I learned are still used to put your love story onto the screen today!

It was so great to have you there as our videographer. Nothing felt invasive or out of place, we forgot about the cameras most of the time. Our photographer also enjoyed working with you! Thank you again so much, it’s such a wonderful video!
